Spreker en econoom Sabine Oberhuber tijdens Ted X 1200x728

Meeting night - Open [the] Future with Sabine Oberhuber - May 28, 2024

Intercommunale Leiedal invites you as policymaker or employee, expert, entrepreneur or concerned citizen to its annual Meeting Evening, on Tuesday, May 28 from 6 p.m. at the Penta in Kortrijk. As you are used to, with Sabine Oberhuber they once again bring in an intriguing speaker.

Sabine Oberhuber is an inspirer, author, entrepreneur and an authority on circularity. She is convinced that we are all on earth to make the world a better place, each in our own way. Together with her husband Thomas Rau, Sabine wrote the bestseller Material Matters: a journey of discovery that turns the world as we know it completely upside down. The authors work step by step toward a new economic model in which consumers are not so much owners as users, materials are given rights and waste is a thing of the past. They are the woman and man behind RAU Architects and Turntoo, which helps organizations develop circular business models and strategies. Sabine Oberhuber brings an inspiring keynote on circular economy and action perspectives that take into account the bigger picture.

What can and will circularity mean for our region, its policies, entrepreneurship, education and residents? Register, get inspired and join us in opening the future of a region in transition.
