Memento Wordfestival
On 17, 18 and 19 March, the Kortrijk Public Library is once again organising the word art festival Memento. Memento brings together artists, cultural players, bookshops and readers around the current theme of 'work & productivity'. And you can discover that right now in the KIOSK! With the Memento Lab, they are opening a temporary residency spot there by the collective of Letterzetter Astrid Haerens.
At the Memento Lab, the collective of Letterzetter (city poet) Astrid Haerens makes a plea for rest. Drop in and join the writers in a conversation about rest, relaxation, sleeping and dreaming. On Saturday 18 March, the literary performance 'the napping poet' will also take place there from 10 am to 11 pm. For the concept and elaboration of the presentation, Memento was matched with Sofie Deckers and Manon De Cuyper.
