Info session: Sustainable and circular procurement
CICO hub invites you to an inspiring info session on sustainable and circular procurement processes.
Purchasing plays a crucial role in sustainable business, given the many sustainability risks that occur throughout the value chain of a product or service. Companies, governments and semi-public institutions can make a big impact by making their purchasing processes more sustainable and integrating circularity.
During this info session, we provide you with practical insights, reflexes and concrete actions to include sustainability and circularity from the start of your purchasing process. Turn your purchasing strategy into a powerful lever for positive change!
Specifically, what can you expect?
This session goes beyond just informing about the what and why of sustainable and circular procurement. There is a joint intro for both companies and public authorities. After the short introduction, the group will be split for the more practical workshops.
As the number of participants for this session is limited, the workshops allow the experts to address the individual cases of the participants. Strategies and tips to get started in concrete terms will be discussed. We also look at realistic thresholds and how to overcome them to convert procedures into sustainable purchasing behaviour. As an output, each participant receives a personalised onepager with a clear diagram of strategies and a completed canvas based on their own case.
For whom.
This information session/workshop is aimed at the purchasing department of companies and (semi-)public organisations.
Other stakeholders involved in procurement processes are also welcome (product group managers, budget managers, sustainability managers,...).
