Henry van de Velde Awards 2020

Last night, the Henry van de Veldeawards, the biggest design awards in Belgium, were presented in BOZAR. Demetra device won the Henry van de Velde Business Innovation Gold Award. Through the linked cloud system, all photos can be analysed, tracked and compared at any time. The Demetra was also selected for the Designregio Kortrijk Award and, together with many other regional innovative products, was included in the DesignX50 book.

Bernard Rommens designed by order of Re-Volt uit Oostende "The Light Machine". They won the Henry van de Velde Habitat Gold Award. The lighting was inspired by film set spotlights, army jerry cans and details of machines. The lamp can easily be dimmed and can be placed in different ways to always create the desired atmosphere. Because all parts are replaceable, the lamp is also durable.
