Design Drinks & Talks 30.03
Welcome to Texture, museum of flax and textiles in Kortrijk on Thursday 30 March for another edition of DESIGN DRINKS & TALKS. At Texture, the group exhibition 'Raffling', a unique rendezvous with textiles by a collective of 11 illustrators, textile designers and artists as part of Memento Word Festival, will be running at that time.
Talks
Illustrator Toon Delanote and mixed media storyteller Klaas De Baere, two participants of the Rafelen collective will give us a look at their own work, the exhibition and the challenge of textile art.
Handbag designerZarina Khassenova designs and manages her own label Zarina Rouge from Koksijde. Zarina talks about her start-up, trajectory and future plans.
Dries Deryckere, besides being coordinator of the Digital Arts and Entertainment Howest course, is a 3D artist himself. He shows us his own work, gives a helicopter view on the future of the gaming industry and Kortrijk's ambitions with Flanders Game Hub.
