Some highlights

At WONDER you need to be there to discover new design talent, this can include the expo WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION and WIP.DIP.IPO in the Budafabriek, PICK MY FLOWER in the Koetshuis or 17 ( VITAL ) BOUNDARIES in Texture.

At the Budafabriek, Broelkaai 6, Broeltoren Noord and Patria, companies enter into dialogue with designers, producing surprising installations, pavilions and digital experiences.

You will discover what is happening in terms of circularity in product design at the CYCLES OF DESIGN expo in the Paardenstallen. Deltalight also shows its sustainable innovations around aluminium battle in Broeltoren Zuid. In Surplace Studio you will discover more about life extension for chairs via industrial 3D printing and in Texture and De Beste Kamer the possibilities of hemp will be explored.

Quite a few Flemish and Kortrijk galleries participate with very diverse exhibits and work: REDKETTLE Gallery presents in the unique Chapel of the Pauline Sisters and PLUS-ONE Gallery brings an AR experience to the Verlaagde Leieboorden. Buda Gallery, Hilde Vandaele Gallery, Kunst in Huis, 4n20, Radical HeArts, Rhizome, Galerie Art & Design Productions and Art Church Rochus are not only participating in WONDER, but the weekend of 26 and 27.10 also in Kortrijk Art Weekend.

Interested in graphic design? Then head to Atelier Nooitgedacht for Zegg Expo and Buda Kitchen, where print company Die Keure is moving its prepress department and organising numerous talks.

DURF2030, De Stroate, Quindo, Bolwerk and LZSB are joining forces to colour the city outside the lines, as part of Kortrijk 2030. They will take the empty hotel at Dam71 and transform it into a real youth hub. At many other locations too, children are challenged to be creative.

On the Grote Markt and along the Fabriekskaai, projection mapping spectacles are set up every evening.

With the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Belgium, we invite Audrey Large for an installation around various digital manufacturing processes such as 3D printing in the Broeltoren Noord.

Wood also takes a leading role: in the KIOSK, Vaklab Bokrijk presents the three finalists of the BKRK award theme wood and in Buda Kitchen a new and innovative wood project for secondary schools, WOOD SKILLS, is presented.
