Robin Berrewaerts
Robin Berrewaerts (1991) lives and works in Brussels, and his work straddles the line between furniture design and sculpture. With a strong focus on materiality and craftsmanship, he explores the boundaries of form and function through a physical and intuitive process, using wood as his guiding principle. His objects are often finished with a dark coating that further emphasizes their form and texture.
During WONDER in Kortrijk, he is organizing and participating in *Jeu de main*, an exhibition that brings together designers around the craft of working with wood. The exhibition highlights how making is an interplay of hand, material, and intuition—ranging from controlled interventions to more spontaneous, organic forms.

Maximiliaan Schevenhels
Maximiliaan Schevenhels (Sint-Niklaas, 1999) is an architect and designer specializing in spatial design and scenography. As a member of the collective 29 na 12, his work spans architecture, object design, and scenographic interventions, with a focus on structural thinking and materials. During Design Drinks & Talks, he’ll take you on a journey through “Second Matter,” an intriguing installation that emerged from a collaboration with Quick-Step. Here, recycling isn’t merely explained—it’s made tangible: a continuous interplay of tension, control, and transformation in which materials reinvent themselves. “Second Matter” will also be on display soon at WONDER.

Vessel Keramiekatelier
Vessel Kortrijk is led by Sophie Caure and Jannah Field, two artists with a shared passion for ceramics, experimentation, and community. Sophie founded Vessel with the dream of creating an accessible creative space, while Jannah, as an illustrator and ceramicist, further explores the interplay of materials and experimentation. Together, they are building a warm, inclusive place where making and connecting take center stage. During WONDER, they will present *The Second Supper*, a contemporary interpretation of the Last Supper. Not a religious reenactment, but an artistic reinterpretation in which ceramics take center stage. Thirteen ceramic artists have been invited to each design their own tableware set, coming together in a single table installation: a dynamic interplay of forms, styles, and signatures. With this project, they showcase ceramics as more than just functional objects—as expressive design and as a medium for storytelling. A collective arrangement in which each piece stands on its own, yet is simultaneously part of a larger whole, enhanced by scenography, context, and space.
