Designregio Kortrijk unites 10 design companies with the 2nd edition of the collective WONDER CLUB
Designregio Kortrijk unites 10 regional design companies under the name WONDER CLUB for networking, inspiration and visibility. This 2nd edition of the project focuses both on inspiration sessions and a joint exhibition during the WONDER Creativity Festival in Kortrijk.

The 10 companies Arlu, Blue Label, Brachot, Casalis, Haelvoet Projects, Jati & Kebon, Modular Lighting Instruments, Pia Manu, Pro Projects, Wever & Ducré are all ambassadors of strong design, innovation and the power of collaboration. They offer the best in Belgian design, with showrooms just 40 km away. In a rapidly changing world, they want to be inspired by trends and innovations that spark the imagination, connect with like-minded people and young talent.
WONDER CLUB formulates an answer to those needs. It is a select network of strong design-oriented companies that are shaping the future together. With combined forces and in collaboration with Designregio Kortrijk, WONDER CLUB explores new opportunities and inspiration around themes such as digital, social, planet & talent.
“WONDER CLUB is above all a platform for exchange and connection of network, inspiration and knowledge, and in this way stimulates more cooperation.”

Inspiration sessions
Throughout the year, Designregio Kortrijk organizes 4 lunch sessions for the WONDER CLUB members. Around the themes of digital, social, planet & talent, an expert is invited each time who brings innovative perspectives, but also young talent joins the table.
A first speaker is Peter Depauw, he is strategist and expert at Strategy&Leaders. At the first inspiration lunch, he will show participating companies how to generate a positive social impact as a company. This first session will take place at the partial initiative in Kortrijk, the partial factory.
WONDER CLUB house, blending brands and designers
Like the previous edition, the products of the participating companies are united with the work of young designers in an exhibition at the WONDER Creativity Festival. From October 16 to November 2, WONDER brings together creative talent from all over Belgium in a unique discovery trail through Kortrijk UNESCO City of Design. Last year, this unique synergy was created in the beautiful salons of Broelkaai 6 on the Verlaagde Leieboorden in Kortrijk, in front of more than 16,000 visitors. The curated selection included work by designers Audrey Large (FR), Victor Ledure, Fractall, Fraziel Atelier, Moss Studio, Giel Dedeurwaerder & Brent Neve, Dries Truyers, Jolien Holvoet, Lisa Berden, Guillaume Pille, Yani Vandenbranden, Copper & Light collective, Amandine David, Paulineplusluis, Nortstudio and Simon Hampikian (FR). This year a unique scenography will be created on a new, imaginative location near Buda Island.
In addition, WONDER CLUB participants will be included in the network of Designregio Kortrijk, bringing a.o. opportunities with design students, grant projects, events, international exposure in the UNESCO Cities of Design Network.
