WONDER CLUB
WONDER CLUB is a collaboration platform between design companies Allaert Aluminium, Joli, Modular Lighting Instruments, Novy, Umbrosa, Vincent Sheppard and Wever & Ducré.
With this initiative, initiated by Designregio Kortrijk, they want to build bridges to each other for knowledge and network exchange, but especially to other sectors and target groups, think of the next generation. This should lead to more innovation, inspiration and talent attraction for the Kortrijk UNESCO Design Region.
The power of collaboration
Cross-pollination and collaboration is in the DNA of this design region. It was also with this in mind that Designregio Kortrijk organized a round table discussion at the end of last year with numerous regional manufacturing companies ranging from furniture to architectural elements. And that's where the first idea and especially the enthusiasm for this platform formed. Because collaboration across sectors is more than ever a ticket to innovation. Together we have more impact, more reach, more future.
Under the imaginative title “WONDER CLUB,” Designregio Kortrijk is therefore bringing together the regional design companies Allaert Aluminium, Joli, Modular Lighting Instruments, Novy, Umbrosa, Vincent Sheppard and Wever & Ducré.
They offer the best in Belgian - or West Flemish - design, and are now going to communicate that as a combined force.
Actions
WONDER CLUB brings the 7 companies together under the website wonder-club.be, which highlights proximity to showrooms for potential clients and education, as well as some must-visit inspirational addresses.
The website includes a tool to schedule a showroom visit as a professional, school or organization. In addition, there is room for experimentation.
WONDER CLUB is above all a platform for exchange and connection of network, inspiration and knowledge, and thus stimulates more cooperation.
WONDER CLUB House
During WONDER Creativity Festival, we will take over Broelkaai 6 with WONDER CLUB.
In 2024 Allaert Aluminium, Joli, Modular Lighting Instruments, Vincent Sheppard and Wever & Ducré presented together in the beautiful salons of Broelkaai 6 under the name WONDER CLUB house.
And this in collaboration with work by designers Audrey Large, Victor Ledure, Fractall, Fraziel Atelier, Moss Studio, Giel Dedeurwaerder & Brent Neve, Dries Truyers, Jolien Holvoet, Lisa Berden, Guillaume Pille, Yani Vandenbranden, Copper & Light collective: Bram Verstraeten, Lisa Foster, Sibran Sampers, Maarten De Laet, Ines Thorn and Justine Cappelle, Amandine David, Paulineplusluis, Nortstudio and Simon Hampikian.
