This was WONDER 2025!
WONDER Creativity Festival 2025 engaged over 18,000 visitors in a journey of discovery through Kortrijk UNESCO City of Design, visiting 34 locations with more than 60 exhibitions and installations focusing on design, art, technology, and innovation.

With this, the WONDER Festival of Designregio Kortrijk once again confirms its unique place in Belgium as a vibrant platform and connector for all things creative. With more than 500 designers, companies, students and artists, we explored how imagination, courage and enthusiasm can contribute to a more human and green future.
This was well received by the general public. Every year, WONDER succeeds in inspiring people of all ages. Almost 40% of visitors are under 30, partly thanks to the many school visits. Both secondary schools and higher education institutions are quick to find their way to the festival. More than 40% of visitors this year came from outside the Kortrijk region. Last year, we welcomed over 16,000 visitors, in 2023 11,000 and in 2022 5,000.
With this edition, WONDER once again proves to be an unmissable event in Belgium for anyone interested in design, innovation and art.

My visit to Kortrijk was truly inspiring. The WONDER Creativity Festival permeated the entire city and felt like an integral part of its identity. I was especially impressed by the subtle yet highly visible marketing that created a sense of curiosity and pride around the festival. It was clear that design is not just a theme, but deeply embedded in the city’s DNA.
