New board members
We are delighted to welcome Marie-Amélie Cnockaert and Renaud Baeckelandt as external experts to the board of Designregio Kortrijk!
Marie-Amélie is an urban designer and creative director at Bureau Cnockaert Urban Engineering. With a background in architecture and extensive experience in spatial planning and area development, she leads complex projects with a focus on quality, identity and participation. Her work centres on sustainable and climate-resilient living environments, where design and strategy go hand in hand.
Renaud is an engineer-architect and freelance urban planner, active at the intersection of architecture, research and culture. With experience in Brussels and Paris and as co-founder of the SPASS gallery, a Brussels-based creative workspace and exhibition venue, he is at the heart of the artistic ecosystem. His strength lies in connecting creators and the market, with a strong focus on strategy, forward thinking and community-based working.
Lisa Declercq
Lisa is responsible for the offline and online visibility and communication of Designregio Kortrijk. She is always looking for the next big thing in young design talent and builds up the creative community of the organisation.
