Hotel de Vondst
A tiny hotel with a big story.
Hotel De Vondst is a unique place to stay for two people on Kortrijk's Grote Markt, built entirely from recycled and upcycled materials. During WONDER Festival, the hotel not only offers a unique overnight stay, but is also an inspiring example of circular, sustainable and creative construction. Every piece of wood, every stone and every object has a history and is given a second life here.
A collaboration between Imog, Designregio Kortrijk and designer Bobolito&Co
Tom Dekyvere creates light art installations, sculptural works and creative interventions with Bobolito&Co that explore the intersections between nature, technology and human interaction. Many of their installations travel worldwide and often find permanent integration in both private and public spaces. In Kortrijk, you can find one of their works along the banks of the Leie.
