
Design Drinks & Talks 26.02
On Thursday evening, 26 February, we invite you to a new edition of our networking and inspiration event Design Drinks & Talks at innovation agency CREAX. We have invited illustrator Jonas Devacht, Managing Partner - CEO of CREAX Mathieu Mottrie and Annelies Thoelen, coordinator of Designpunt, as speakers. Welcome!

Jonas Devacht
Jonas Devacht is an illustrator and designer from Zwevezele and a Devine Howest alumnus. Jonas works with studios, agencies and brands from all over the world, creating campaigns, branding, clothing, murals and moving images. His style is characterised by curiosity, craftsmanship and a penchant for bold, maximalist images. Last year, Jonas could be seen at work on the US BY NIGHT stage, among other places.
Mathieu Mottrie (Managing Partner - CEO CREAX)
Innovation is crucial to making a business future-proof. However, innovation is complex and has become a profession in its own right. Annelies Thoelen (Designpunt)
Annelies Thoelen is coordinator of Designpunt, the support centre for design culture in Flanders. She explains how they stimulate the sector by developing knowledge, encouraging reflection and highlighting the importance of design as an artistic discipline. With their programme, they demonstrate the artistic and cultural value of the contemporary design sector and make it a topic of discussion.
