Hack The Material: creative experiment with Ledro Powder Coatings, Blue Label and Nortstudio
With Hack The Material, we highlight company products in an innovative way, combining creativity, experimentation and challenge.
Enter Ledro Powder Coatings and Blue Label. Both companies engage in a creative experiment with the colorful and playful design studio Nortstudio, supported by young potentials. This project combines Ledro's powder-coated MDF panels with Blue Label's acoustic PET material in an impressive setting.
HACK THE MATERIAL will be on display at WONDER Creativity Festival at the Buda Factory from Friday, Oct. 17 through Sunday, Nov. 3.
Hack The Material - 2021
Designer Sep Verboom and young talents Amber Dewaele and Isabeau Goddé took the floor out from under your feet with IVC Commercial.
An installation based on vinyl and carpet tiles from IVC Commercial, but taken completely out of context. Three designers, including Designer of the Year 2020 Sep Verboom, set to work under the heading “Hack The Material,” and in the meantime, the project reached its conclusion. The result is an installation that starts from de-flooring, with an organic look in which sensory experience and wellbeing are the common thread. The installation was presented at our WONDER festival of Biennale Interieur, city of Kortrijk and Designregio Kortrijk, among others.
