Lunch session for creative entrepreneurs: Protect what you create
On Tuesday, 25 November, we are organising a lunch session for creative entrepreneurs in collaboration with IFORI Kortrijk: Protect what you create — without needing a large budget. Register now for free!
During this inspiring session, you will discover how you, as a creative entrepreneur, can protect your intellectual property (IP) in a smart way. And it doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.
The experts at IFORI will take you beyond the traditional routes of trademarks and patents. Of course, these will be discussed, but they will mainly show you how you can also protect your creative work and ideas through lesser-known forms of IP — such as trade secrets, copyrights (e.g. on software), database rights and the new design right. Contractual agreements also play an important role in this.
In addition, we dive into the world of AI: what rights do you actually give away when you use data or creations as input? And what IP rights do you have on what the AI returns as output?
You will receive concrete examples, useful tips and practical insights that you can immediately put to use in your own creative practice or business.
