!Mpulsive Girl Tour

!Mpulsive Girl Tour is a permanent street art trail in South-West Flanders.
Every year, Girls 'n Cans sends ten talented female graffiti artists under a certain theme to transform the streets with their colorful works, spread over different facades in social neighborhoods region of Menen/ Wervik.

The project is an initiative of woonmaatschappij IMPULS in collaboration with Girls ’n Cans and Designregio Kortrijk.

Street art as a unifying force

The first edition in 2024 of the !Mpulsive Girl Tour was all about the people of the neighborhood. We chose the theme of diversity because every resident brings their own language, culture and story.

In 2025, the focus was on connection. Social housing neighborhoods are not always seen as the most attractive places, but they are often vibrant, diverse and full of hidden talent. We want to make that richness visible, introducing residents to art and culture and inviting visitors to discover these neighborhoods in new ways.

This project aims to connect neighborhoods with art in a unique and accessible way. Bicycle and walking routes along the works have been established that allow people to enjoy art and movement. There is also a !mpulsive Kids Tour, where children learn about the artworks in a playful way.
