!Mpulsive Girl Tour
!Mpulsive Girl Tour is a permanent street art trail in South-West Flanders.
Girls 'n Cans sent ten talented female graffiti artists to transform the streets with their colorful and expressive works, scattered on different facades in social neighborhoods region of Menen and Wervik.
The project is an initiative of housing company IMPULS in collaboration with Girls 'n Cans and Designregio Kortrijk.
Street art as a unifying force
Social housing estates are often not the most popular and beautiful environments we can imagine. However, they are full of creativity and cultures. In order to introduce people to these neighborhoods, but also to introduce the neighborhoods to culture, the street art project !Mpulsive Girl Tour was born.
Step into the lively world of street art and discover the vibrant Leie region in a whole new way during the "!mpulsive Girl Tour". Ten talented female graffiti artists transform the streetscape with their colorful and expressive works, spread across different facades in Wervik and Menen.
This project aims to connect the neighborhoods with art in a unique and accessible way. Bicycle and walking routes along the works were mapped out for people to enjoy art and movement.
