Markland Architecten

MARKLAND architects was founded in 2018 by Dennis Delvael, Kevin Huysentruyt and Steven Vanwildemeersch. In 2023, Markland architects and Link Lab architecture merged to form MARKLAND bv, a member of the newly established Link Lab vzw and LINK LAB. Rita Agneessens and Tom Vandorpe joined the architectural partnership. The studio in Kortrijk is a creative platform that openly explores and questions our clients' opportunities and, together with them, translates them into fresh, no-nonsense architecture. Drawing on years of experience and a rich portfolio, MARKLAND designs contemporary and well-thought-out architectural concepts, with a strong focus on responsible and sustainable use of space, materials and detailing.

We carry out these projects in close consultation and collaboration with the client and project partners. We combine a personal approach with professional expertise. We build inspiring places within a strong network of partners in urban planning, architecture and interior design. Places that not only take up space, but above all give space back. MARKLAND is curious and deliberately focuses on collaborations in various contexts, ranging in scale from master plans to homes.
