WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION
The exhibition presents the designers of tomorrow.
Since 2014, every year Designregio Kortrijk and its partners are looking for the next generation of Belgian design talent in product design, architecture, graphic design and game design through an overview of the best student projects from creative design education (colleges and universities).
Students can now submit their student project for participation, using the form at the bottom of this page (deadline Sunday 3 July).
The exhibition will run from 21 October to 6 November 2022 and is part of WONDER - Kortrijk Creativity Festival during the Biennale Interieur 2022.
Graphics and scenography of the exhibition are in the hands of Bureau Boschberg.
Who can participate?
Students from the following programmes at Belgian colleges and universities:
Product design
Industrial product design, textiles, fashion, accessories, furniture design
Architecture
Interior, buildings, public space and landscapes
Graphic design
Graphics and illustration, advertising design, web and digital
Game design

Conditions
- The student project must be developed in the academic year 2021-2022.
- The projects are assessed by the organisations of Designregio Kortrijk, Interieur and professionals from the various design sectors.
- They take into account the innovative character, the social relevance, the sustainability and the exhibibility of the project.
- The project will be delivered and picked up in Kortrijk by the applicant.

You will be informed of your selection in mid-August.
The selected projects will be included in offline and online communication of WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION, WONDER and Interieur. The exhibition is completely taken care of by Designregio Kortrijk, from scenography to signage, photography, communication and press.
