Pilipili Productdesign & Engineering nv was founded in 1996 by product developers Steven Dehollander and Adriaan Debruyne. Meanwhile Pilipili counts 11 employees.

The multidisciplinary team has evolved into a full R&D partner for conceptual and mechanical design of industrial products in various sectors (consumer goods, machine construction, electronics applications, medical equipment, packaging). For developments 'from art to part', we can consult an international network of suppliers.

A product takes shape through 4 development phases: analysis-concept-design-engineering. When making offers, we always try to estimate the development in these 4 steps. The coordination of the prototyping and the prototypes is offered at a management rate.

Analysis :

In the analysis phase, innovative ideas are generated using structured brainstorming techniques according to the TRIZ method.

Concept :

The concept study is a search for form, systems and possibly materials without elaborating them technically. Virtual 3D models and foam models make it possible to visualise the styling. In this way, the customer can get a clear picture of the design of the new or renewed product. At the same time, the user-friendliness or ergonomics can be checked.

Design :

Systems, assembly and mounting are worked out via design studies. The design is frozen and drawn out in our high-end 3D-CAD software.

Also strength calculations can be made with this software.

Engineering :

In the engineering phase, the CAD model is further detailed. All production technical parts are integrated and the files are handed over to the client in the desired format (DXF, IGES, STEP).
