What if you could transform your unwanted things into completely new forms? This was one of the many questions that inspired the Designers in Residence Kortrijk to develop DIRK: a local platform for experimental participatory recycling. On Saturday December 10th, 14.00u DIRK will finally be open to the public!
Join us for a workshop where the Designers in Residence introduce participants to their studio space, process, and material archive.
Here's how it works. For the first hour, the Designers in Residence will teach participants how to use the machines, workspace, archives etc. Then they are free to experiment, play, and explore in the open-studio!
After the first hour, viewers are welcomed to see the process in action, enjoy food, drinks, music, and good company. We highly recommend to register for this free workshop if you want to test it out yourself & actively participate.
